Hans J.R. Steffen has more than 45 years of experience in the insurance industry. He worked 25 years for one of the leading reinsurance companies where he helped to build up and develop the Special-Risks business including Financial Institutions, Commercial Crime, Fine Arts & Specie as well as Contingency LoB’s (Cancellation of Event, Non-Appearance, Prize Indemnity) on a worldwide basis. He was heavily involved in assessing and structuring the coverages for several FIFA Football WC’s and Olympics as well as in the creation of a Lockout coverage for a professional sports players union. He also served several years as Group Underwriting Officer for Special-Risks and as a member of different Group Capacity Allocation Committees.
He founded Prosprius in 2013 in order to provide as an MGA an easy and valuable access for Reinsurers to the Entertainment and Contingency markets.
